Tunnels Beaches

The unique Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe provide safe bathing areas with secluded beaches and pools, accessed through tunnels quarried beneath the cliffs.

The award-winning beaches, founded in 1823, provide a great way to relax for all the family, and just a stone's throw away from our holiday cottages in Ilfracombe!

Along with the beaches, there is many other facilities including:

Individual admission prices are no higher than £1.95, and the opening times are as follows:

• Easter holidays: 10am-6pm
• July/August: 10am-9pm
• September/October: 10am-6pm
