Woolacombe Beach

Woolacombe Village Beach, located 6.6 miles from Ilfracombe, is a two and a quarter mile stretch of golden sand backed by sandy hills and the Woolacombe Downs, providing a perfect location for a family day out.

The vast expanses of the beach mean that there is plenty of room for everyone, whilst zoning provides extra safety. Along with relatively safe swimming, there are various other activities on the water including surfing, windsurfing and canoeing. The beach has also won numerous awards, including the Blue Flag award.
